Not that anyone asked, but for all the other deadline fighters out there, here’s a playlist that pokes you to get things done.

It’s got a timer and everything so you feel bad when wasting time!

Fancy a trip to Zanzibar?

With COVID restrictions going away, everyone and their cactus is vying for a trip abroad. BUT flights to Japan, Korea, the UK and other popular destinations for HKers are currently unaffordably out of the ordinary.

Why not go somewhere different like
.Tanzania!

HKMC releases ESG funding

The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation has launched a new program for funding SMEs with a socially or environmentally sustainable goal.

The HKMC’s Social, Green and Sustainability Financing Framework is the corporation’s attempt to “expand and implement its sustainability strategy as an integral part of its business strategy”.

Eligible groups will be given collatoral or standard bonds to fund their projects. Groups will also have to report back to the HKMC on financial and sustainbility progress.

Second party opinion was given by Sustainalytics who found the HKMC’s reporting and evaluation criteria well designed.

It’s T3, Baybeeee

Under the influence of Typhoon Nesat, a T3 warning was raised yesterday morning at 11:30. The typhoon was closes to Hong Kong just before 5pm. Unless Nesat takes a U-Turn, it is unlikely that a T8 will be raised.

The T3 is expected to last until 5am today. Rains will strengthen over coming days as the moonsoon caused by Nesat continues to impact Hong Kong despite the storm itself going farther away.
