Good morning,
My name is Reese, I am a 19-year-old changemaker, speaker and community-builder passionate about leveraging the power of business in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
I founded ISSIA HK , a youth-led nonprofit based here in Hong Kong that champions global citizenship education, empowering young changemakers through peer-to-peer and project-based learning. We are a go-to hub for all things global issues, having involved 300+ volunteers across 80+ schools.
As part of my gap year, I have been working at the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and also consult for Ashoka, a global organization that pioneered social entrepreneurship and now aims to build a world where 'everyone is a changemaker'.
I will be starting my studies at the London School of Economics (LSE) this September.

The importance of changemaking
A changemaker is anyone who takes creative action to solve a problem for the greater good How do you become a changemaker? How do we create a world where everyone is a changemaker?

Time Auction
Time Auction is a charity that advocates volunteerism. They encourage volunteering with inspiring experiences, while connecting skilled-volunteers with NGOs. For example, I recently had the great opportunity to meet Annie Chen of RS Group, where she shared some insights on impact investing and broader ESG trends in Asia.
