Restrictions for arrivals from Taiwan and Singapore have gotten stricter. Anyone who arrived from Taiwan on or before Saturday who are still quarantining at home must transfer to a hotel.

The police force said that Frederic Choi is not guilty of soliciting any illegal services at a massage parlour. Choi was found present at an unlicensed massage parlour, but the police’s investigation concluded he did not take part in any illegal activity there.

Six pro-democracy activists were remanded in custody for their 2019 National Day protest cases. They are six out of ten people who were arrested and charged for their role in the demonstration. The remainder of the ten includes Jimmy Lai, who are serving jail sentences for other cases.
