Good morning,
Another needlessly windy day in the midlands. But look what I found:

A traffic cone that says NSL! (Sorry, you’ll have to actually go into the tweet). The memes make themselves!

25th Anniversary celebrations at home
Celebrations so far at home
Ok, in the interests of attempted unbiased reporting, the above meme is not entirely true, there are legitimate celebrations for the public happening. (The statue by the way is in Brussels, and I talk more about that below the paywall).
Such as the Taxi Union lining up their cabs with flags
Ping Shek Estate getting a makeover
Surprisingly, residents at Ping Shek didn’t know who hung up the flags (though many appreciated it, with one resident even asking for a ‘mega flag’) - it was organized by the Kowloon East Chaoren Association, apparently without too much residential input.
The flags were soon removed after a few were vandalised.
1 Jul: what’s happening?
Well no one seems to be sure what’s happening still. President Xi’s visit is still in Schroedinger territory though more areas are being further blocked off.
These include West Kowloon Station as President Xi is rumoured to come on the High Speed Rail, and Science Park where he’s expected to visit.
Sources told HT (yes, have sources too, it’s not just SCMP that has them) that the main roads were blocked at noon. An internal memo said the inconvenience was “ to support the I&T event at HKSP on 30 Jun 2022” and that “special security procedure and safety measure will be implemented on that day” (i.e. today). Companies have been told to work from home as much as possible.
Meanwhile the Chief Executive of Macau, Ho Iat-Seng will be visiting Hong Kong. He arrived yesterday and will be staying till celebrations finish on 1 Jul. Ho will not be partaking in any activities that involve taking off his mask and will do multiple tests on the way home, as per Macanese COVID regulations.

More possible quarantine shortenings - 3+4?
Professor Ho Pak-Leung said yesterday that quarantine for inbound travelers should be further shortened to 3 days in a DQH, followed by 4 days at home. This contradicts slightly what we reported yesterday on Tide which was a 5+2 scheme.
The total amount of days of medical observation still amounts to one week. In both plans, when under home observation, you will not be allowed to enter venues such as bars, gyms and restaurants, and may even be allowed to work if you travel point-to-point.

New Space Museum Dome Show: "Dinosaurs of Antarctica 3D"
Like dinosaurs? Like Antarctica? Well you’ll love the new 3D Dome show at the Space Museum! From the event itself:
Utilising top-tier computer graphics, the 3D Dome Show "Dinosaurs of Antarctica 3D" reconstructs Antarctica's hidden-greener-past when it was warm and forested with newly-discovered dinosaurs and bug-eyed creatures roaming freely. As we follow the hunt with Cryolophosaurus, the largest known early Jurassic carnivore on Earth, we learn that survival in the prehistoric Antarctica was no easy task.
