Penny’s Bay to make room for domestic helpers
The government will be making 800 rooms at the Penny’s Bay camp available for foreign domestic helpers arriving from overseas countries to stay during their 21-day quarantine periods.
“Now that we don’t have local cases and not as many close contacts that need to undergo quarantine, we have room to arrange quarantine for foreign domestic workers.”
The rooms will cost around HK$500 a night, and they will be available at the end of the month with booking to start in three weeks.
