Good morning.
Today on Tide we have something nice before diving into the big bad news. No, it’s not sponsored, we just like them.
Shoutout to Poland
Something massively underrated is the Polish consulate’s monthly newsletter. I learn something new in it every time and if you like cooking and fun free events, it’s the newsletter for you. Send them an e-mail at hongkong.kg.sekretariat@msz.gov.pl and let them know we sent you!

In NSL-ish news, the barricades set up during the 2019 protests around the government HQ in Admiralty have been taken down because the building is no longer a target for vandalism and other law-breaking acts.
A number of lawyers have put together The Compendium Project, a database containing records of hundreds of protest-related court cases.
I know we all basically knew HK’s “biggest opposition trade union” was saying goodbye, but the Confederation of Trade Unions took an official vote and the results showed an “overwhelming majority” called for disbandment. The reasons? “Obvious” (paywalled).
