Chief Executive Carrie Lam claimed some “serious problems” hit the Election Committee polls that took place on Sunday with a delay.
Votes made: Less than 4,400
Time to count and report results: >14 hours
Apparently, it was meant to take much less time (at least eight hours less) for results to come through.
COVID-19


Three loan schemes by the government will be extended by six months (paywalled) to continue providing financial aid to those impacted by the pandemic.
If you were at any of these four specified premises at the specified time (scroll down to the Annex 1 attachment), go ahead and get your compulsory test as ordered by the government.

What else is happening?


Three students and opposition activists have been remanded in custody for national security law offences.
Three non-permanent judges of the Court of Final Appeal had their terms extended for another three years.
RTHK Backchat’s host Hugh Chiverton has been off the air without notice nor release of an official statement for two weeks, and RTHK isn’t giving a reason why.
