Good morning.
If anyone knows one of the residents flying back to HK from the UK, I’d love to hear about their experience trying to get home after all these months. I certainly do hope that the process for their return will be smooth.
News 🗞️
The UK just launched a £43 million package for BN(O) holders arriving from Hong Kong. This plan offers immigrants the chance to find employment, housing, education, and the opportunity to apply for citizenship.
Designated flights to bring back HK residents on the 21 and 28 April from the UK were completely sold out within hours of their release. All passengers will have to quarantine for 21 days in a hotel.
The incorrect vaccine was given to at least five people due to the residents heading to the wrong inoculation centre. Recently three more people were given a shot they did not book for.
